About The Cheap Thrills


The Cheap Thrills are a synth rock band from Liverpool. Renowned for producing sonic pop songs with infectious hooks and melodies. EP "Vue Du Monde" (2019) is a glimmering and bold statement of intent that shows that these scousers mean business. The EP, released through Eighties Vinyl Records, caught the attention of New Colossus Festival in The United States who invited the band over to play their New York City based festival in March 2020. Recent singles 'Saint Or Sinner', 'Codependence' & 'Smile When You Sleep' were played by John Kennedy & Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 & Radio X and also featured on Spotify's 'Hot New Bands' and 'Indie Listí. As of 2020 the band have surpassed 750,000 Spotify streams. The band have also had US airplay from the likes of Sirius XM, and KX93.5 California. The band have secured high profile support slots with bands such as DMA's and Cast and are well known for their frenetic live shows. Tv stations such as Channel 4, E4, Sky Uno, BT Sport and BBC One have used the bands songs for shows such as "Tattoo Fixers and Goals Reloaded". Codependence was named as Louder Than War's "Track Of The Year 2019"
