An artist in every right, no other DJ / producer has released on as many of the world’s most iconic labels as Yousef. EP’s on Crosstown Rebels, Desolat, Cocoon, BPitch Control, Hot Creations Hot Trax, Knee Deep in Sound, This & That, Harthouse, Intec, Defected and Moon Harbour have seen his name become synonymous with hard hitting house and techno releases. Entering its 17th year, Yousef released his latest album project, ‘9 Moor Drive’ which explored his lesser known past growing up in Liverpool and was an honest, reflective look at his past. He also delivered his first full EP of 2020 on his own Circus Recordings, in the form of ‘Super’, which included a remake of 2017’s ‘Pleasure Defined’, the EP has garnered huge support from key industry tastemakers, such as Annie Mac, Hot Since 82 and Damian Lazarus. Yousef's quintessential Circus events have booked every major name there is throughout its 17-year lifespan. In the last 12 months alone Yousef' monthly has welcomed Peggy Gou, Marco Carola, Sven Vath, Luciano, Loco Dice, Robert Hood and as always has supported the very best in up and coming talent alongside such huge industry names. Yousef's equally prevalent Record Label, Circus Recordings has been responsible for releasing some of the most seminal music in house and techno. This year Circus has released one of the biggest underground tracks, with Janson’s ‘Switch’ gaining support from all the major UK radio stations such as Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss FM, Beats 1 and Rinse FM. 2019 has also seen Circus release a huge single from Carl Cox (‘Dark Alleys’ - Carl Cox Remake) as well as tracks from the Alan Fitzpatrick, Jamie Jones and Junior Sanchez as the Circus message continues to illuminate and transcend. Alongside continuing to release and curate some of the finest music available, Yousef has showed no sign of taking his feet off the pedals over the past years. The past few months alone have seen Yousef travel from east to west, from Mexico to Japan and play the biggest clubs on the planet, with dates at LA’s Exchange and Space, Miami to being a regular at Dubai’s Soho Garden. He also has regular spots at Ibiza parties. With the addition of huge performances at ANTS, Ushuaia and then the hallowed Terrace at Amnesia for Elrow Ibiza, Yousef continues to show the world his peerless deck skills, effortlessly and effervescently smashing the world’s finest clubs and festivals with his colourful take on underground house and techno. And finally, Yousef’s global weekly radio show ‘21st Century House Music’ continues to go from strength to strength, now on 100+ FM stations around the world with around 18M+ weekly global listeners in over 40 countries.
